An Extra Gift
As we enter a New Year, we have lots to be thankful for, especially if you come from a Christian home. You see, you've been extra blessed if you have Christian grandparents and parents. You have a heritage, a legacy of faith. It's been passed on by our grandparents and parents and enabled by God's grace. These people have cared for you, prayed for you and most importantly, explained the greatest gift of all, God sending His Son to earth for you and me.
This of course does not mean that life will be easy or free from hurts, quite the contrary. But we have the foundation and the tools to remain faithful. So you see, Christmas may be over, but there is one more gift to give. Say thank you to your parents and grandparents, for through them, God was revealed to you!
