Flashlight Football

The sun going down early in the fall and winter doesn't have to stop your outdoor fun. Next time your youth group meets in the evening and you'd like to get outside, light up your life by giving this game a try!

Whitewater!

Fear not! This is not another article about the foibles and follies of our dear President Clinton. Rather, I thought I'd try to pique your interest in a very wet and very wild adventure, rafting down a river, by sharing some highlights of my first whitewater rafting trip.

Golf Ball Fishing

Next time you dunk a tee shot into the drink, remember that you've just created a treasure for your course's local golf ball fisherman. Maybe that will ease the hurt of that two stroke penalty. Did anyone see that fish jump?

Grazing

Norm on "Cheers" loved to eat at the Hungry Heifer. He'd graze in that restaurant for hours at a time. Not the healthiest way to eat. Yet, grazing can be good for you. Find out how you can graze your way to a healthier lifestyle!

You might want to try this one with your youth group, your family, or with some kids from the neighborhood. Football has never been so fun

Sock Wars

Many of us grew up playing some form of the game "Capture the Flag." At Immanuel Baptist Church the youth have a tradition of playing one form they call sock wars. As games go, it is easy and simple, but addictingly fun!

Johnny Goodsport Tourney!

The Johnny Goodsport Tournament is for people who love to play, play hard, and play fair -- who play for the joy of competition.
