●Sunday Van Drivers are desperately needed. If you can help with this vital ministry, please contact Jim Aspaas or Mike Knoop.
●If you can serve as a greeter this summer, please sign up on the greeter sign-up sheet on the bulletin board.
●We are purchasing 160 padded chairs for the Fellowship Hall. The cost is $62 per chair and we have $4300 but still need $5700. Please mark “chairs” on your check, if you can help us out. We would like to have them here by the biennial, if possible.
●The Shining Light Circle will meet on Tuesday, September 7th at 1:30pm at the church. We will be rolling bandages for White Cross. The word for the month is happiness. We would like to have you join us.
●The Bible Study Circle will start meeting again on Wednesday, September 8th at 1:15pm at the church.
●The ABW Exec Board will hold its meeting on Thursday, September 9th at 7:00pm at the church.
●Sarah and Josh along with their parents, Dennis & Elizabeth Roberts and Tim & Sally Dvirnak invite you to share in the joy of the beginning of their new life together on Sunday, September 12th at 4:00pm at Camp Bentley. Please rsvp to Sarah if you plan on attending.
●Senior Saints Game Day will be held on Thursday, September 16th from 2-4pm in the Fellowship Hall. We will feature Wii Bowling, but you may also bring your favorite board games. There is a sign up sheet on the bulletin board. Please checkmark if you will need a ride.
●Evening Circle Ladies: It is hard to believe that the summer is over. It sure went by fast. Our Circle will be starting up in September and we would like to invite anyone who is interested to please come and join us for a night of great fellowship. We will meet at the home of Wanda Aspaas (1607 12th St SW) on Thursday, September 16th at 6:00pm for homemade soups and dessert. If you have any questions call Wanda Aspaas (852-6984). Please come and join us!!
●You are invited to a Wedding Celebration Shower for Pete and Ashlie (Hogue) Schneider on Saturday, September 18th at 10:30am in the Fellowship Hall. Come and help celebrate their marriage. They were married on May 1st. Pete is the son of Ken and Jan Schneider.
●American Baptist Churches of the Dakota’s Tenth Biennial will be held October 8-10 at Immanuel Baptist Church. Registration and meal reservations forms are located at the Visitor’s Center. They must be returned to the office by September 27th.
